Garlands are a sweet and most easy way to add a dose of allure to your home. What if you decorate your home by reusing egg tray. Yes, yes, you read it right. When I thought of making a garland out of egg tray, I wasn’t sure how it will end up. Surprisingly, it is looking prettier than I had expected. I am ready to add this new treasure to my room. Oh sorry! I should say my future room. I am keeping all my diy’s to decorate my prospective room. For those who don’t know, I live in Hostel and will be out of this nasty room in few months. Yuhooo….
Now moving on to this dainty garland,
You’ll need:
- Egg tray
- Pom Poms
- Spray paint (Colour of your choice)
- Marker (Colour of your choice)
- Sewing kit
- White yarn
- Scissor
- Glue
Process:
Step 1: Firstly, you need to cut the egg compartments neatly. Make sure you have 8-9 pieces of egg compartments of an egg tray.
Step 2: Trim the edges of the compartments to give it a fine appearance.
Step 3: Spray paint these egg compartments and add a grace by making a pattern through a marker at the outer side.
Step 4: Sew the pompom from inside of the egg compartment and tie it with the white yarn. Make sure your pompom is dangling and visible. Tie all the egg compartments at regular interval.
And there you go, its ready to add glamour in your home, sweet home.
